1 - Who Supplies the vehicles?

All vehicles supplied through Design vehicle leasing are UK registered vehicles and conform to the relevant vehicle manufacturers UK dealer network

2 - Do vehicles have a warranty?

Yes, all our vehicles come with the full UK manufacturer’s warranty.

3 - Is servicing included?

Service Care covers the cost of all manufacturer recommended service items required in the service schedule, including for example, brake fluid, spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter and screen-wash

4 - What happens when I need a vehicle serviced or repaired?

If you included a service contract you will receive a service contract agreement from Mercedes Benz UK from which you can book the vehicle into a local Mercedes Benz workshop. Upon request you may also be able to request free vehicle collection and delivery.

5 - What if I need a replacement vehicle?

Mercedes Benz offer a rental vehicle in the event of a vehicle breakdown. You will be supplied a breakdown assistance number for cover throughout Europe 24/7, this cover is supplied through Mercedes Benz own service. This cover is only available for vehicles serviced and maintained in a Mercedes workshop.

6 - Is roadside assistance included?

Yes, all new vehicles include 30 years breakdown recovery, this is a manufacture supplied cover and is a good will gesture so restrictions will apply.

7 - What happens in the event of a breakdown?

All vehicles include at least 30 years breakdown cover from the manufacturer. Within the car or van book pack there will be an emergency number to contact day or night.

8 - Is delivery and collection included?

We offer free UK mainland delivery. Collection depends on the type of contract taken. For contract hire or personal contract hire and contract purchase or personal contract purchase the finance company will collect the vehicle at the end of the contract unless you are purchasing the vehicle.

9 - What are my options at the end of the contract?

This depends on the type of contract taken but usually you can either hand the car back, extend the contract, or purchase the vehicle from the finance company (dependant upon the funder).

10 - How long is the lease period?

Our contracts range from 12 to 60 months depending on the vehicle and contract chosen.

11 - What is the initial deposit?

While a minimum one payment upfront is available, typically an initial deposit of 3 monthly payments is required. Larger deposits can be given to reduce the monthly payment.

12 - Is car insurance included in the lease?

The lease contract does not include insurance, you have to arrange your own fully comprehensive insurance on the vehicle.

13 - What if I exceed the agreed mileage on the contract?

Any mileage over the contract is charged at the excess mileage rate charged in pence per mile. As an example if the excess was 5 pence per mile then for 1000 miles over contract you would be charged £50.

14 - What happens if I want to end the lease early?
